It is important that the scraper is sharp at all times. This makes it easy and effective to work on the base surface. The less sharp the scraper is, the more pressure is required. This may negatively affect the properties of the base. Sharpen the scraper using Swix T0408, T410 and T412-220.

Transparent polyethylene sticks for repairing ski bases. Easy to work with. Ø 6 mm. 4 sticks per pack. First clean the damaged area in the base and scrape out any loose residue. Heat the polystick and drip into the damaged area in the base. Attach the Fibertex to an oval or rectangular brush. Move the brush back and forth on the surface of the base. When the gray lining is gone, you’re done. PS6 can be used as a race wax alone or as a base for powders and other top coats. Ski cleaner for cleaning ski bases and removing wax and klister. Spray on the base, remove as much wax as possible with a scraper and wipe with Fiberlene. The active ingredient in this ski cleaner is a low-aromatic hydrocarbon which has a good effect on grease and dirt.
